As for his effort against the Cowboys,NFL Jerseys Wholesale, perhaps McCoy put extra pressure on himself because Nick Foles was struggling. Foles misfired on pass after pass, finishing 11 of 29 for 80 yards before a concussion sent him to the bench.
"I tried to make too many things happen, certain plays from running the ball and screens and different things like that," McCoy said. "I felt like that was probably my worst performance since my rookie year, but I'll bounce back this week for sure. I just have to trust in the scheme. If things aren't working out, eventually they'll break."
McCoy should benefit from having Michael Vick with him in the backfield. Vick's running ability — he had 307 yards rushing in 4? games before injuring his hamstring against the Giants — forces defenses to keep an eye on the quarterback when the Eagles run the zone-read offense.
The Giants have some run-stuffers in the middle of their defensive line, including former Eagles Mike Patterson and Cullen Jenkins. There's also Linval Joseph and 350-pound tackle Shaun Rogers.
"I just wasn't myself," McCoy said. "I felt like with a game like that where my team needed me and depended on me, I didn't show up. I started doing too many individual-type plays and not really going with the plays and just doing my own thing. I was just a little bit frustrated. I wasn't making the plays that I usually make, and they were stopping us, making us go three-and-out and things weren't really going our way."

Instead of crediting the Cowboys' defense for a strong effort, McCoy accepted the blame.
"Special talent, very," Kelly said. He's run for more than 100 yards three times, including 184 in the season opener at Washington. He also had 114 yards receiving in Week 2 against San Diego. McCoy's 952 yards from scrimmage is a franchise record through seven games.
"They mixed plays and ran a lot of stunts, and to their credit, they've got some guys up front that are pretty good," McCoy said. "That was a good defensive strategy for that week, but we've made some adjustments, ourselves. We watched the tape and we learned from it by going back to that game. We took some things out of that game and we're going to use it this (week). I think we have a good matchup. I think we made the right adjustments."
Chip Kelly knew he would have an elite back when he came to Philadelphia, but McCoy has even surprised his coach with his all-around skills.
It won't get easier for McCoy when the Eagles (3-4) host the New York Giants (1-6) on Sunday. McCoy had a season-low 46 yards rushing on 20 carries against the Giants in a 36-21 win on Oct. 6,Rams Throwback Jersey 2019.
When Foles carried out fakes after handing the ball to McCoy,Antoine Bethea Jersey, no Cowboys followed him. When Vick does it, defenses have to respect his speed or he'll beat them with his legs.
McCoy,World Baseball Classic Jerseys, the NFL's leading rusher with 685 yards, said he didn't "show up" in Philadelphia's 17-3 loss to Dallas last week. The former All-Pro had only 55 yards rushing on 18 carries.
